NewsBreak has significantly reduced support to its writers over the past six months, despite claiming to prioritize local news. The situation is far from optimistic. Many writers were let down by NewsBreak slashing their distribution rate— a move that has left some grappling to sustain their income. Moreover, article rejections may be dictated by an editorial process beyond the writer's control. Despite boasting a user base of over 45 million nationwide, they seem disinterested in healthcare-related content, which can be informative for local communities. I appreciate your past experience of receiving 500K impressions back in 2023; it must have been great but disheartening now that it has dwindled significantly. Perhaps NewsBreak needs to reassess its commitment not only towards writers but also local news— restoring trust and garnering support from their contributor community is always possible.

Plus they do not like healthcare and health related publications.
